like I know that.....but here in the states we don't have that kind of room and besides, when your doing 120mph you don't want to be zigzaging all over the road.....lol

Only 120? - obviously a chillin day?
Whats your all time best?

Well the Jag has a limiter and only goes to 121 lol.....but i got around it have logged 135 before i got nervous...(didn't feel like it was hugging the road) and I don't have speed rated tires....
As for everything being bigger...I suppose that is true...but not in the city where traffic is bad, you can't see in front of the other car to avoid any potholes (bumper to bumper) and just the city roads are a mess to begin with...just grin and bear as you hear that "thump"!!

I'm not sure if we have that limiter over here, I was doin around the 130 mark in mine and seemed very good n steady, I dont think there was too much more in it though.
I seen 151 in the Saab

I had my 2.5 at 130 last night on the motorway commin home, there dint seem as though there was anythin left in it......NOT in the snow though!!.........lol

)..seeing off this t*sser of achav in his Saxo, temptation was too much so showed him a nice pair of real tailpipes which drowned out the screetch of his big bore.

140 on the speedo (reads high though compared to tomtom) still plenty left but ran out of road (on the Washington highway..thats Washington UK

Way to go Buck.........a little bit more than my 2.5 I think! Like I said had it at 130 but ran outta road but dont think there was too much left.
Had the Saab at 150 last night on the 74......took a pic of the speedo with my camera fone, a bit dodgy & blurred though as my hands were resting on the steering wheel.
Had a close shave as a top of the range Volvo flew past me at around 140, thought I'd give chase. Took it to 130 and caught up as he had slowed down and pulled in behund a van.........didn't look right so I had a good look as I passed at about 95- 100. Nearly crapped myself (lol) white shirted guy holding a walkie talkie to his ear!!!!
Pulled in in front of the van for about 2-3 miles and he kept inching out of lane, then, blues in the grill and he pulled the van over.
Who's a lucky boy?

Depending on the answers I get from you all ; I was planning on driving up to Lake Tahoe in a two weeks for a snowboarding weekend.
As you know, I have 19-inch wheels, 215/35/19 Nitto Neogen All-Season tires, and a stock suspension. Hopefully a snow storm doesn't brew up in the mountains, and make the drive impossible.
I wanted to get your opinions about driving in the snow w/ my current set-up. I have driven through these same mountains with my stock 16" wheels & tires w/o DSC in light snow w/ no problem, but I'm kinda hesitant of the drive since I changed my set-up.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Change back. I got my 225/40/18 Toyo Proxes 4's(All season? Not THIS season!)mounted on custom alloys, threw them on the car and loved the ride/handling. Next day, it snowed about 4" or so, then a couple more the next. I couldn't hardly breathe on the throttle without spinning my wheels, and worse yet, I COULDN'T STOP ! [sm=smiley35.gif]2 days of this and I put my no-name 205/55/16 and ugly stock rims back and my problems were GONE!
