Anyone have directions on how to remove the back seat on my 02 X type? I have tried to remove the rear seat and I am having problems. I can get the front clips off but it won't move after that. I think I see where it is glued down near the back of the seat. any good tips on this. I need to run wires to my radio form the trunk and want to run them under the carpet in middle section.

totally different on your car.. x type seat is held in by 2 clips in the front .. then the seat has to be pushed in towards the trunk area about a inch .. then it comes out .. seat has a metal ring.. that gets pushed into a hook type thing on the body..

I have a 2003 X-type 2.5L. IS this the same process of removing the seat? I tried to push it towards the trunk area. Do i lift and push or just push while it is in the regular position? Also my seats go down from the trunk, should i push them down than push the base towards the trunk or leave them closed?
