Hi I have a 2010 2.2d x type and today after filling the boot with shopling i couldnt lock the car with the remote it will lock with the key but sounds the horn which is very annoying. Anyone any ideas on what the problem could be and is it easy to fix ?

 

Sorted a tiny brown wire had snapped under the boot lid lining which took seconds to reconnect unfortunately i had already stripped off all the panels looking for it before i finally found it in the left hand boot sock just before it feeds into the rear of the car !
