Default A/C freezing at idle warm at speed!!

It's all backwards!

I have read that a clogged orifice tube will do that, or a heater valve stuck open.

Anyone has had this happen on their X type ?

Mark, it could be the valve in the compressor see the TSB:

I thought that the spring in compressor issue showed itself by poor cooling at idle?

Maybe too quick then!

You probably want to check the pressures at idle and ~2000 rpm and see what is happening.

I will get my gauges out tomorrow, but simple test;

If I park the car and increase the RPM the A/c gets colder as it should.

It's only while driving and accelerating that it's getting warmer ..
