Hey Gergs....

You can do anything if you put your mind to it. LOL. I do not know your mechanical level and im sure THERMO will chime in but its not that hard.

Special tools? Not really. Just a big *** socket for the half shaft nut and i always like using a impact to take it off. But puttin it back in you cant be as rough. Which you shouldnt have to once you get it out and clean up eveything for the install.

If you want call around and see what it would cost and get motivation that way. But overall I personally dont think its that hard. Im an average mechanic.

You will need a way to press out and press in the new bearing into the hub, a local machine shop should be able to help you out. It isn't to hard of a job as long as you know how to use a press.

Can someone give me detailed instructions or point me to a link that will show me exactly what to do? It doesn't look too difficult from researching other vehicles...probably has something specific for Jag that I need to do though....
