tiger, it is fuse F69, a 15 amp fuse. This fuse is in the central junction box. If you need more info, let me know.

Thermo- I'm having the same issue but my real problem is that I cant find that darn fuse box. I know where the one under the hood is and the other I found is in the interior on the driver side about top left of the kick panel. There is suppose to be another fuse box on the passgr side but there is nothing in the glove box(only a blank plastic with nothing behind it. Nothing behind the fuse panel. Nothing in the trunk, I think. Nothing under the rear seats. Where can I find this mistery box?

o4 jag X type 3.0 add has 2 sides to the fuse box behind the map box or whatever that pull out rectangle whole is on the drivers side. On opposite side of the visible fuse box is the other half holding relays that will not be visible but facing toward the firewall

John, welcome to the forum. You won't find a friendlier group of enthusiasts anywhere else. You might want to go to the "user control panel" and add a little more info about your location and your Jaguar.
Your response was to an 11 year old post and those folks may not be around any longer.
On the tech side their are 2 electrical wiring systems for the 2004 X-Type. If the build date is Jan, Feb, or Mar 2004 you have the wiring from 2001 to 2003. If your Jaguar build date is after Apr 2004 you have the new 2004 to 2009 electrical wiring system.
