Your have posted the above in a classics forum dedicated to the full size saloons of the 1950s and 1960s. Traffic here is limited and DTCs were unheard of at the time these cars were produced; so, I suspect that you will find little in the way of assistance on this particular forum.
I would, however, suggest that you re-post your question here:

Good luck in resolving your issue!

Welcome AGAIN to the forum vkng7,
I've moved your question from Mark V - X 420G (1948 - 1970) to X-Type forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.
If you had shown the courtesy to react to my previous request to post an Intro, you would have received some useful advice on posting and avoided this mis-post.
Please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some information about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Greetings Super Mod,
I do apologize for mistakenly posting in the wrong Forum. This was simply clicking the wrong one in haste.
With regard to Intro is a must, you will see I am not a new member.
For clarification, do I need to do an intro for each subject post?
If so I again apologize for not adhering to this.
