Coolant leak Please help

Default Coolant leak Please help

So Upper radiator hose had hairline crack and I bought whole new hose with tstat and now that part is installed coolant still leaking looks like close to where tstat hooks up to waterpump i think? was part installed wrong? PLEASE HELP

tony, from the sounds of things, you may have a problem with the water pump, not with the hose. It is possible that you have a bearing that is starting to go and it is leaking out the seal on the front of the pump. Otherwise, you will need to do some more looking and see if you can spot where the coolant is coming from. The other option is the radiator is leaking at where the core meets the outside edge. You would not be the first with that issue.
