Coolant Tank
So one of the inlet tubes on my coolant tank broke off, and it looks like the only fix is to replace the whole tank. The dealer wants $215 for the tank, anywhere I can order online for less?
Comp, first, give ken@britishparts.com an e-mail and see what he can do for you. His prices are normally pretty good and I am sure he can get you that tank for less than that. Secondly, look on the site for Nalley Jag, they are a dealership that sponsors this site and will work on getting you some good prices. Finally, check out http://www.jaguarparts.com. Jagparts is a dealership out of Cleveland Ohio that I have used and for a dealership are the cheapest prices I can find. The trick with this place is that you have to do everything over the internet to get the lowest prices. If you call them to place the order, the prices go up. Looking at the Jagparts site, they list the part for $123 (plus S&H). LIst price for the tank is only $144. Not to say anything about your dealership, but.......
This should help you out.
