Default Driver's side window

For some reason, when I close the window it makes a weird vibration on it's way up. There are no problems going down, and its only the drivers window that does this. Any ideas as to what might be causing this? its not major (i hope) , but hearing that weird farting noise everytime is kind of annoying.

Did you get the window or seals wet and than try it? Do you have tint? I figured it was the tint but it doesn't do it when wet...

My drivers window sometimes does this.Have tried lubing the seals but still does it sometimes.Once it even went back down, must have thought someones neck was trapped[&:]
Interesting to see the fix.Have put up with it as it doesnt do it all the time and when it does its no big deal.

Go to a Ford dealer and get a bottle of "mini vent window lube" part # XL-10. It sells for $17for a 4oz bottle - plenty to do all your window runs several times.

My windows are tinted, but it only started doing that about a month ago. (I had the tints done almost a year ago)
And yes, it still does that even when its wet/raining/snowing/dry/cold/etc ...
True, it's no biggie, but it does get annoying ... doesnt compliment a Jaguar when the windows fart.
I guess I will have to try the window lube.

The mini-vent lube? Yes, it does sound silly, but works. It originated back in the early 70's(?) for Lincolns with power windows that had a vent window that went down before the main glass. I'm dating myself here aren't I .........[:-]I remember when the stuff was new!

I can truly say though that ford vehicle's are the only ones that are so airtight that you cannot open and shut the windows without your ears popping...can't say I've gotten that out of any other vehicle...
