Engine Codes Wot u guys think???
Right will explain best I can.....Just got car as u probley seen in previous posts,Has been a headache...Someone took check engine light out?? so I read the codes we have p00340, p00341,p00057 I am pretty sure there all linked togather I know 2 of them are cam sensor Bank A...
I called Jag dealer they advised me to change Plugs cause it can throw cam sensor code,So I bought genuine ones car does run alot better and has got rid of 2 other codes but the 3 I listed are still there???Car runs ok and goes good but every now and then it starts cutting out and you cannot accelerate at all?Reset codes and I am away no probs... So any help would be great,I don't wanna spend a ton on it as it is only a winter car...thankyou in advance Car is a 2001 v6 3.0

RH = A Bank
LH = B Bank
For parts identification purposes, Left and Right Hand are when viewing the vehicle from the rear.
For second hand parts, there's several specialist Jaguar breakers in the UK. The closest X-Type specialist breaker to you is in Newcastle-upon-Tyne:
Jaguar X-Type Parts - Jaguar X-Type Spares and Jaguar X-Type Breakers

Don't mean to be thick..lol But my engine sits cross way like a front wheel drive...So one bank is at front and other by the bulk head.....and both cam sensors are on the drivers side front and rear.....I have looked all over and there is nothing showing witch is bank A.....Thanks again GGG
