extended warranty

I have a 2002 2.5 xtype and approaching the end of the factory warranty. Has anyone purchased an extended warranty from anywhere and how much did it cost you? I live in the state of CA.

I bought it once myself, but on a differnt car. It didn't cover everything and I had to alwasy pay for something..labor and the part 50% off of Parts were free, but had to pay for labor.....

read it and don't believe what they tell ya...go with what your contract says. ( i got boned on it)

No we sure don't, but if you read the contract it should say, or go talk to your service manager, he should be able to explain. then, fill us in please

Anyone have any experience with American Fidelity extended warranty. I am reviewing one now and it appears excellent. My X-Type is a 2002, 2.5 L with 49250 miles so I was able to get an additional 4 year, 60000 mile "bumper to bumper" coverage.
