Hello All,

We're new sponsors to this forum. We're glad to be here and would like to let everyone know we carry many different parts for Jaguars. We carry Arden, which we're US importers for, as well as many other brands for Jaguar.

Please take a look at the link below to see what we offer!

Take a look!

Hi there, welcome to our site and great to have another excellent vendor onboard.

I'm sure you'll find the members more than happy to discuss their requirements and hopefully give you a chance at their business.

If there's anything either myself, or the mods can do to assist you in any way, please feel free to drop us a pm and if we can help, of course we will.

All the best

I don't make my way down here all that often (yet) as I haven't needed any parts (yet), but welcome all the same!

Seriously guys (J_bond and RickBNA), posting that and not even welcoming a new site sponsor? Do you have any idea how foolish you look right now? Let me remind you fo something, and yes...publicly.This forum costs you nothing to join and participate here? The servers, their operation, maintenance and software costs do not magically get taken care of. Sponsorship by our dealers and the various companies that offer products and services applicable to our cars is what sustains the forum and provides the privileges you now disrespectfully utilize.

The forum has policies about 'price policing' anybody's 4-sale threads...this is no different. J_bond, your link to the Mina products is not even fair, you're comparing apples to oranges with Arden. They're different companies in different countries...using different materials equating to a different quality. You'll find Arden customers who will have nothing but positive comments about their products, and until you can personally own and test the two side by side, you shouldn't make the claim of both being 'equal', except for the price difference.

Fiercespeed, I sincerely apologize for the rather unfriendly posts above, I assure you this is not representative of the manners displayed forum the majority of our members.

You are the first vendor to join the jaguar forums that specifically offers a wide variety of aftermarket equipment and parts specifically designed for our cars, and that is a welcome addition. Glad to have you onboard!

Personally I'd pay good money (>$1000) if someone made a nice console replacement. I'd love to replace the cheap plastic section near the hand brake. I'd pay much more to upgrade all the center console plastic to be close to the 07 XJ for instance.

I'd also prefer the little center cubby to have felt lining...

Just wish there was someone who offered that type of upgrade

This thread was copied into the mutiple boards to welcome our new vendor not judge their prices . Don't forget you get what you pay for .
In regards to Arden , they're the finest producer for aftermarket parts to Jaguar . We are lucky to have such a vendor only selling the best elements available for Jaguar

In same way Carlsson , Brabus are the best for Mercedes Benz . Lorinser also well know let me remind you Brabus is pricey why because they do use urethane while Lorinser uses fiber in other words Brabus produce more quality elements in their stuffs

ADV1 wheels listed at $0.00. Nice! I want a free set of wheels!

Seriously though guys: Arden > Mina Gallery. You gotta pay to play. $7250 just for a front big brake kit is a little ridiculous though, especially considering that if I tried to sell my car I would probably struggle to get that much for it as a whole.......

In all honesty if you looked at any sort of mod to an x type (or similar car) as an investment you're going to make a bad decision. Having said that, it's about being an enthusiast.

A few years back I was totally into AV gear. I spent well over $50K on home theatre gear, in the scheme of things my expenditure was pretty modest. Almost everything I did was to get to incremental improvements - it was the pursuit of perfection, not a logical business decision. In the end, the cost per movie or per song listened to or value added to the house would not have justified it...but it was a passion that I indulged in and I ended up learing a lot as well...think of all the people who buy Bang and Olufsen gear - incremental quality improvments, unique design and a lot of dough (I started down my AV path with B&O)

The same goes for products like Arden. You're paying a lot for incremental quality improvements and design.

Welcome aboard!

Given the resale value of these cars, the prices of most of the Arden parts are out of this world.

- $500 for aluminum pedals?
- $2000 for quad exhaust tips and mufflers?
- $1600 for sport mirrors
- $1000 for a boot lid spoiler
- $7000 for high performance brakes!

Wow! But, they sure are lustworthy mods. Do you guys carry the wheels shown this picture? How much are they?

I must admit I am a little tempted by their pedal covers.

Trust me, I've owned and modified plenty of cars to be well aware of this. I was merely remarking that it would seem pretty difficult for 99.99% of X Type owners to justify spending $7250 on a big brake kit when most X Types are barely worth that much as a whole. If you are really in the pursuit of braking perfection in your X Type and have some cash to burn, you'd be a lot better off finding the Brembos from an S Type R on ebay and having custom brackets milled to fit them to your car for less than half the price of the Arden kit.

On a car like an XKR or an XJ, Arden stuff is amazing and totally worth it. On an X Type?..... Not so much in my opinion.

I agree with you totally. But I'd pay to upgrade some of the cheap x type plastic! The rare wood knob just doesn't go with cheap plastic!

Same for the $550 floor mats

But if I had even an XFR I'd be looking at taking it to the next level.

welcome to the site.

guys this isnt a honda civic... prices of parts are a lot higher than your average car and dealer repairs are insane.

maybe they will offer some forum discounts or group buys.

IF jaguar decided to put out the rumored X Type R with 420HP V8 (I believe it was the XKR engine) the Arden touches would have taken it to the next level!

As it stands now, even adding around $30K worth of Arden components gets you killer styling, but you're still left with (if everything works as advertised) a 260HP 3.0 V6. Not terrible since the Acura NSX was also a 3.0V6 that put out 270 HP...the X Type could have even matched that with minor modification (probably from Arden).
