Default Fitting reverse parking sensor - need help

Hi!

I need some help fitting a reverse parking sensor I purchased

Would anyone happen to know which of the following cables runs to the reverse light?

This photo was taken from the rear of the car, drivers side (right hand drive).

I have the X-type 2002 guide to the electrical system but can't quite understand what I'm looking at

jackpea, if you look at your photos, you are interested in the green/black wire that is on the right side of your photos. Granted, please keep in mind that this wire actually splits out up front in your car and then there is a separate wire that feeds the parking aide computer which is located in the spare tire well (open your trunk/boot and look just left of center and you will see the black box between the tire and the rear bumper in the well there, you are after pin #9 which will be a green/black wire).

What are you attempting to figure out. Maybe I can help in a little bit different direction.

Hi Thermo, thanks for the response.

I am attempting to find a 12v feed that activates when I put my car into reverse gear, the reverse parking sensors I have purchased were not from Jaguar themselves, they're generic and off the shelf. I believe I know which black box you're referring to, I'll go take a photo and you can let me know if that is the one. Thanks again.

Hey Thermo
Is this it?

Edit: Spot on Thermo! The black/green activates when the car is in reverse, just what I was looking for

For info the black/green was marked pin #3 on mine.

Jackpea, yep, that is the connector. That would be the easiest place to access the wire that you are after without having to hack and slash the factory wiring harness.
