I own a 2006 2.2D Sport xtype. i have had for 6 years and in that time it has been a bit of money pit. New injectors, EGR, numerous wheels etc.

I decided it was time to move on but then the flywheel went so i shelled out another load of dosh to sort this one out in order that i could at least trade the thing in somewhere. However, upon leaving the garage it was noticeable that it was pulling very roughly upto 1500 revs. I assumed that the garage must have left a hose off around the EGR valve and it took it back to the garage.

Long story short the garage are maintaining that the car has a new problem in that one or more injectors are not working properly and will need overhauling. I did point out that it seemed an unfortunate coincidence (garage does lots of work and car gets new problem) but the garage was insistent that the new problem was unconnected with their work. I would like to believe them as they have been very good to me in the past.

I am now stuck for ideas and cash as to how to get myself out of this problem. Any ideas folks?
