Fuel consumption
hy,i have an x-type 2.1L petrol automatic transmission, and i want to know what consumption do you have at 2.5L,3.0 L motors and in what condition of driving.Thank you.
I have a 3.0 X-type, automatic. She typically gets 17 to 18 mpg, sorry I don't know what that would be in metric.
I live in a hot place with very congested roads, so heavy use of air condition + constant braking = poor mileage.
The best mpg I ever got so far was 22 mpg, but that was only one time.

03-X-2.5,13700 miles, Used to get 28 to 32 mpg on trip over 100miles, 24mpg in town(suburbs) but since I've incured a reocurring vac leak I'm lucky to get 20 in town.Have to dig into it further, like IAM "O" RINGS, BRAKE VAC LINE. I've done the PVC hose,Intakes,Mass air,Plugs, cleaned injectors. It's been to cold to mess with it.
'05, 3.0 Auto, 70K mi, ~18mpg around town, ~25mg on the highway, ~22mpg in my combined, mostly highway, driving.
