Our X has developed a weird problem. When the fuel gage arrives at 1/4 it will suddenly drop to empty, the low fuel light comes on, it shows a fuel calculation error on the remaining distance, and if you keep driving it will run out of gas. When you fill, it won't take 16 gallons, it will take about 11-12 gallons. That means it wasn't actually out of gas but for some reason the last 4 gallons in the tank can't get to the fuel pump/engine.

Anyone heard of this?
