I've been facing lots of problems with the X-Type and I am really sick of this car. My car is a 2.1 petrol. Recent problem, my fuel range drop from 542km to 516km with a mere 7km traveling distance but my consumption litres per km is maintaining. What is wrong with this car again?

 

Tomica, do not worry about the distance to empty. As you drive around, the car is looking at the fuel level in the tank and the mileage that the car is currently getting. Especially with a full tank, the number can change dramatically with very little driving. I would be more focused on if you are getting roughly the same distance per tank and/or that your mileage is remaining consistent with how you are driving. From what you are describing, there is no issue with your car.

On a side note, I need to make it back to your part of the world. I was there 10 years ago and miss being there. had a lot of fun while I was there.
