Glove Box - Repairing signs of wear ??
Howdy,
I just noticed signs of wear showing above the glove box latch.
It seems the panel is just plastic with a Faux Leather finish to the fascia.
I guess my wifes fingernails are the culprit here.... but it will most likely get worse. (becoming an eyesore)
Can someone kindly suggest or know how to restore this finish ?
OR
Should I simply cover the dime sized (shinny) area say with a stick-on badge or emblem ?? (finish colour is charcoal)
All suggestions and help appreciated.
Cheers,

Cheers,
I was able to buy these Button/Emblems.....
Each measures 1" x 1" x 1/8" and they fit perfectly over the worn area of glovebox fascia. Now, when you open the glovebox, your thumb automatically contacts the button.... I guess that action was the real cause of the wear (rub)
The button seems like it belongs there and all looks good again - so, the problem is solved.
