Hi, I've got a problem where my 2.0d X Type goes into limp mode when the engine's under load. I've replaced the fuel filter, all four injectors and, for some reason, the timing chain. I switch the car off and on again and it will run fine until I either accelerate hard or put the engine under load. Any suggestions anybody? I've already spent over £1000 and still haven't cured it.

Have you checked the turbo actuator? Faulty actuator causes the same symptoms.

 

i had this problem, i sent the actuator off to be reconned, didn't work, then i watched this video and did it, this works.
