Got a Tow and now x-type jerks at 40mph...
This past monday my radiator blew out on me while I was at work. I got it towed home the following day and replaced the Radiator and thermostat but car ran hot afterwards so I decided to check on the water pump. The water pump was bad which caused the car to over heat and radiator to blow. Anyways, quick fix and I was back on the road in no time.
When I got up to 40mph my car jerked a couple of times until I exceeded 45 mph and leveled out...
The tow truck driver did use a flat bed and we drove the car onto it, but I noticed that when he chained the car down, he tightened the slack pulling my car forward about 6-10 inches. I'm wondering if this put additional pressure on my transmission not to mention we took a rough rout( uneven road) home.
Any ideas what's going on and what I might be able to do to fix it?
I don't want to put it off and it gets worse.
