Hi, you have not yet entered the information, where you are actually located...
Well, if intermittent power supply is the issue, and sprAying WD40 (or similar) onto the connectors (not "couplings") solves the issue at least temporarily, it's worth having a closer look at all those little individual female pins inside of the connector to check, if they may be stretched to far apart to facilitate intermittent contact only. Also check, if the wires are all firmly connected to the pins of all connectors and connections.

PS: Obviously, signs of corrosion of pins in the connector(s) would have also be checked for.

Thanks a bunch. I am located in Bulgaria.closer look at the couplings said - they have some build up. I managed to clean the mail ones an was happy for a day. Now it is completely off. I tried the femails, but i cannot pull them out of the plastic. I even succeeded to break one of the plastics. Now i will try to find new femails and cut the wires, connect the new femails and push them without the plastic. If someone has a better solution please advise. Thanks in advance

Where will you find the new female connector? From another S-Type on a scrap-yard? I do not know, what kind of connector you are dealing with. How many pins does that connector have on total? Is it an inline connector? If it is an inline connector, a solution would also be to get both new - male and female side - and cut all old wires to the old connector and connect then to the new connector. Obviously, you have to understand what you are doing, and if you are using a soldering iron, I always disconnect it from power before soldering some wire, which connects to any electronic circuits, because there could always be spikes coming from the grid, which could destroy the electronics.
