pay your local dealer $1800 to install the factory bluetooth system, or buy an aftermarket one.

Default RE: Hands Free Setup

ORIGINAL: bojangles

here is my lame hands free solution.
I have an SonyEricsson walkman phone, it happens to have bluetooth but I dont use it.
Since the phone is also an MP3 player it uses stereo headphone for the typical hands free setup with the wires. I can unplug the sony headphones ( they use the standard stereo mini plug) and I got one of those tape deck adaptors.
So i put the tape adaptor in my car radio, and plug it into the telephone... so whatever you wouldhave heard on the headphone you now hear on the car system. It works quite well, when it rings I have to push the tape button on either the steering wheel or on the radio.
Nice workaround!!
