Default Have to Show Off - New Wheels and Brakes

Well I just cant hold it in any longer. Upgraded the brakes with some cross drilled and slotted rotors and all new pads. And the wheels fit the jaguar green on so perfectly IMO.

Enjoy!

Howdy,
I would be interested in details (source & cost) of the Brake Discs ?
Are the Discs using same standard Callipers?

Believe it or not got them off ebay from brakemotive. I have used their rotors before and they are very well made and very inexpensive. I replaced all 4 rotors and pads with these and now she brakes much better...

I did the same to mine. Except I painted my calipers black and found a set of jag decals to make them look a little more professional. Next some new rims.

Ya I am still on the hunt for the black jag center caps that will fit...

I want to paint my calipers but I have seen some paint jobs go bad and crack...that is why I haven't committed yet

How long have you had yours painted? Any cracking that you can see?

Nope. I did it around 4-6 months back. I bought my kit from eBay. Only problem was the brush. I was constantly peeling fibers from the wet paint. Mask the new rotors, or be very careful! But even if you get a dab of paint on the rotor the first time you brake will clean it up. Use a better brush and you'll be happy with the results.

bracester, application looks very clean. the rivets add a nice touch and are offset by black color. black center caps with jaguar lettering will seal the deal.
