Default Heated windscreen

Hi all.

My front heated screen only works on the drivers side. As I assume it is getting a feed, will it be the screen itself or something else ?

Can anyone advise please

I believe each element has its own fuse, so there is a LH and RH fuse. Worth checking this first and if its okay check that the element is receiving current when switched on. It is not uncommon for the elements to fail over time and the only solution is a new windscreen.

If you do get a new windscreen and its fitted by Autoglass its worth noting that their lifetime warranty only covers the fitment of the screen. The screen itself is only covered for 12 months and this has caught out a few people on the forum.

On the bright side at least its your drivers side that is working, on mine it was the other way round.

Hi guys

Just checked fuses and feed to screen, all ok. So it looks like a new screen or I will just have to live with it and wait for the de missters to do there job !

Thanks for the advice anyway.

Chris
