Your message is unclear - and we'd like to help, so can you please clarify what the problem is? The Jaguar system is a climate control, not a heater. In other words, the temperature you select is the temperature at which you want the cabin to be. It is not an indicator of the temperature of the air coming from the vents.
When you say that "it only stays on one temp", do you mean that the temperature display does not change when you push the red or blue buttons? Or do you mean that the air from the vents remains at the same temperature? Please clarify. And what year and model is your car? Does it have a navigation system screen?
