Angry Help

Hi I am new to the site i have an x type diesal estate which is driving me mad there is black smoke pouring out the back on accelaration,i have had the egr replaced the air mass sensor cam sensor and the map sensor replaced the air filter etc i have put the higher grade diesal in it oh and also the intercooler has also been replaced but to no avail i am tearing my hair out here can anyone help? its a 2008 reg and its done 59k

Also try the UK Jaguar Forums ... This site is Basically USA , so the diesel info is limited , as Jag never sold diesels in USA ...

cascar, from the sounds of things, you have a fuel injector that is stuck open and what you are seeing is the raw fuel dumping out the exhaust. I would recommend having a leak down check done of your fuel system and see if you can find which fuel injector is leaking on you.
