That is your code reader, It's not a code.

Aside from the check engine light, is the car operate normally? For example, is it easy to start, smooth idle, good acceleration, normal gas mileage?

If you don't have a code reader, most major auto part stores will read the codes for free. Write down the codes and we'll help interpret them.

fatmanbilly, the code iso-9141-2 is a QA (quality assurance) standard. So, if you are getting that on your code reader, then I am willing to bet that you have a problem with your code reader, not the car.

With that being said, if you have a check engine light on, then I would recommend getting a different code reader and seeing what that one says. We can then help you from there.
