my daytime running light has been burnt for almost two months now and ive tried replacing the bulb and the ignitor, but that doesnt seem to be the problem. any advice on what other components should i try replacing????

Baby_Jag, I would first check fuses. Check F16 for the driver's side, F17 for the passenger side. It could be something that silly. Next, when installing the new bulb, are you making sure not to touch the glass part of the bulb? If you leave anything on the bulb (because you have HIDs), this will create a hot spot on the bulb and lead to its quick failure.

After that, I would be looking at doing a voltage measurement of the power wire going to the ignitor. If you are getting lower than normal voltages, this will cause the ignitor to have to work harder, leading to its failure which also causes the bulb on that side to not get proper voltage, leading it it not functioning properly.
