Hello Guys,

Thank you previously for the help. My drive belt had become ripped and the air con pulley fell off. All this has been fixed and the car has been running fine..until now.

Today I started the car, Started as normal, drove out and it suddenly died with the battery light coming on!

Tried it again, same thing happened.

Is this the case of needing a new battery?

I would recommend getting the battery load tested but most likely the problem is dirty corroded battery connections. I would remove and clean them thoroughly and reconnect tightly.
