Hey Friends! Updated picture of my Lexus on 19s
I know I've been gone for a while, sorry. I will try to stop by more. How is everyone doing?
Anyhow, here is an updated picture of my Lexus LS430 on 19" rims. This car really swallows them up.

Hey there Iron...they look nice but I'd have rather seen chrome and 20's! Those wheels in chrome and 20's still would have looked stock which would have looked good for your clients not too blingy but just enough! Those 19's to me almost look factory stock but they went small....welcome back though how you liking the lexus?
It's been an awesome car so far. My only complaint is that I miss the Jaguar looks I got with the X-Type. I have no fear of getting pulled over in this car though. The cops probably think "about time these old men run their cars"......
HAHA! Yeah, and I'm winning! LOL! Just kidding. It's actually not as fun posting without quil around to give me a hard time! You should've seen race and jimbo go at not too long ago! Seriously though, I think the rims are sweet and some springs would do the car justice!
Actually, this car doesn't need springs. It has an adjustable air suspension that can be manually adjusted down around 1" and there is a programmer that can lower it to the ground (if that was what I wanted).

I agree with aquill, I think you could've fit some 20's on there, but that's just our opinion.
Looks good though. What size tires are your running on the Lex?

I really wanted to go for the hi-line stock look. I was going to get 20s, but after asking others that have installed 20s, they all said their ride quality went to ****.
The tires are 245/45/19f and 265/40/19r

I thought when I put the 19's on the X, my ride comfort would turn into crap but it didnt. You could definitely feel the road (bumps & all) alot more, but in become less noticible as you get used to it.
I went for looks rather than comfort and it was worth it.

265's in the rear? That's what I'm talking bout! Wide FTMFW! and 45 series to keep it comfortable too! Sorry for the thread jacking too! We'll stay on topic!
I love the wide look too, its a shame how the X cant handle wide tires, i had some 255/35/18s on it and it rubbed pretty bad. 225/40/18s still rub after a drop
Tell me about it! I still rub on turns and when I have people in the back. I had 215/35/19 tires and didnt have any rubbing problems, but when I "upgraded" to some 225/35/19 tires, the rubbing began!
Oh well. I like the look of the 225's. The 215 were way too narrow.
