Default How do I loosen the buttons on the keyfob?

Hello,

So my keyfob buttons have not been working for some time now. Last night I decided to take it apart and see what was wrong with it, and found that the lubricant that once helped the buttons move, has dried and become this green sticky crayon stuff. I was able to scrape away to try to remove as much as I can, but the buttons are still getting stuck. I tried spraying them with WD-40 (WD-40 has no charge, so it won't short out), and tried scrubbing with 99% Isopropyl, but they still are not coming free.

Any suggestions on how to unstick them?
