I have the update disc but wanted to know what the actual procedure is;

Ignition on / off

Do I press any buttons or is everything automatic

I have searched for this in the archives but nobody appears to have discussed an actual procedure

Should be automatic, start the vehicle and insert the disk then wait a few minutes for the disc to run its course.

Type "navigation update" in the search box, a lot of threads will be shown on Nav issues.

 

Thanks a lot for the info, I was trying to update after burning new disc and I was worried I had done something wrong and after committing the cardinal sin and turning off the ignition during the update I thought it was scrap....
But it regenerated from the original disc and after inserting my second disc (second burn attempt) it worked like a charm and all is good. Black Logo and Map Version 2012.
Shame the weather is so bad or I would go for a drive and try it out..

Are those legitimate? The picture shows them with Jaguar logo and Jaguar/DENSO part numbers. Are they pirated?
