Hey there, I recently bought an IS31, and apparently I need to wire it up to something in order to get power to it, aswell as connect it to a ground.

I've heard people say I should connect to the cigarette lighter, but how would I go about doing this (never done wiring before)? And also, would this render my cigarette lighter unusable, as I need it for my GPS.
