Can't you buy directly thru Borla? I have always uprgaded exhaust systems in my cars but never used Borla before and not sure why. My friend has Borla is both his vette and his wifes vibe - both sound great too. Have you checked out some of the other manufactures? From the looks of it, it appears we may need to find something that fits...

Yes...Sorry you had to let the ALFA go. I mad a mistake in letting a lot of nice cars go throughout my life, 68 vette, 67-911/S, Healy 3000MKII, '62 MGA, and other nice machines..I'm keeping te Alfa Spyder...during the summer it is great..and it is paid for, so the only cost is insurance (cheep here in Lake Tahoe) and repairs. Sorry to be off topic, but..... I have a 2003 X-Type..Borla in rear, K&N in front..sport model...Love it

Yeah, you can buy them through Borla, but it might be hard to find because you have to punch in 2002 when it asks you for the year of your car. Any other year and it shows there is not a match. It does fit. Their part # is 140024. Here is the link: http://www.borla.com/applications/lo...System/140024/

It says cat back, but they are just mufflers. I put a K&N in as well. Not sure that I can say there was a definitive power increase, but it does feel more lively and sure sounds better. For the money I am very very satisfied.

Pricey direct through Borla, but if you do a little surfing you can find it cheaper. Just make sure you type in 2002 on any site you search. When I was looking Mina/JagXP was the cheapest I could find. My transaction took a really long time, but I did get it. Based on my overall experience I am not sure I would buy from them again though.
