Hello guys;


Today I tried to "high jack" the stereo system by soldering the cableleads to the points that other member have to have auxiliary hard wired thru the cd system....epic fail. The soldering part went very well, but I was unable to put the CD player back together properly, so no aux no CD player.

Time to move on to an aftermarket player.

Having the whole thing out, I see he problem with space.

Does anyone know if the recommended HU by Crutchfield all fit properly or not?

The good thing about crutchfield is that they will take back. I have not used them for the x type as of yet but it may be getting close. Always used them with many of my other cars with great success.
