Ideal/Solution - Front camber adjust - Pros and Cons?
Firstly, Merry Christmas and happy New Year!
Humor me. Been trying to think of ways to engineer adjustable strut mounts to the existing mounts or replace the existing front mounts with an adjustable type that integrates with the mounting basket to keep the springs compressed.
Saw on the forum some time back that one member elongated the mounting holes in the engine bay to make the whole assembly adjust. This is kind of a permanent modification once done though.
What about if you elongate the 3 holes on the lower control arm, or the lower ball joints? The lower control arm or the lower ball joints are replaceable parts. Could this work? Would this achieve the goal of making the front camber adjustable without making permanent modifications? Any thoughts on how to integrate an adjustable Mount plate to the existing set up? I’m not an engineer so I don’t know if geometrically this would work, or the cons of this idea that I’m not considering.

Make sure you read and acquaint yourself with the "Thermo" replacement of upper rear arms (adjustable). And then reverse the bolts on the front control arms making it unnecessary to ever drop the front frame in the future. My thread on replacement shows how/why with pics.
