Hi,

Car has been going into limp mode, took into garage and advised me 3 of the 4 injectors need replacing.

Sadly funds do not allow me to get new from Jaguar.

They gave me a part number JDE 4157 - I have found some reconditioned after market parts locally but unsure if they will be correct.

Is there different injectors depending on year etc?

Also anyone able to point me in the direction to purchase 3 injectors with confidence (that will not break the bank!).

The fuel injectors are not difference year to year, difference between 2.5L and 3.0L engines work by the computer tell them how much and when to injected the fuel, not the injector itself. The injectors on eBay are cheaper and work fine, just check whom make them.

 

I think the op is on about injectors for the 2.0 diesel engine Thang.
