Default Install Subwoofer

Hello,

It has come to my attention that my Jag doesn't have a subwoofer in the parcel shelf speaker cover but it has a space for it. Im asking of how to install speakers overthere , is there any good write-up ?

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn’t bother - my UK spec Sovereign has it fitted and it’s only got any presence with the volume turned up to a huge level. Otherwise, totally ineffectual.

The factory fitted sub in my X-type works reasonably well for general music. It can be a bit much at times and so I actually have it set to -1. The rest of the Alpine speakers are decent enough.

I was actually looking to replace the parking sensor speaker in the parcel shelf, and if I didn't have a sub, I could access and replace it in 2 minutes. However, when fitted, the sub blocks access to it and so instead, it involved disassembling the rear of the car: seats, C pillars, seat belts, etc.
