Intake runner o-ring

I put these in a 2004 3.0. Ford PN 87072-S91 o-rings for IMT. It sounds like the mechanic means the intake manifold gaskets that seal the upper plenum (top half of intake manifold) to the lower one or the lower one to the block. See below.

you need part number c2s40669 from jaguar. there are 2 and they go on the two black valves on the passenger side of the upper intake manifold. each valve is held on by 2 8mm bolts. the upper on is very easy to change. the lower one will not want to come out because of the valve cover. but you can force it out and in. the gasket you are showing are the upper and lower intake gaskest. part number xr843536 and xr843533.

I wouldn't recommend forcing the IMT sensor in or out of the manifold. If you don't want to remove the upper half of the manifold then remove the wire from the sensor and stretch the o-ring over the sensor to install it. People in this forum said to do it this way after I had removed the manifold to change mine! The Ford # I gave above is for the IMT o-ring. I bought the Felpro intake manifold gaskets from AutoZone.
