IPOD Question

Hi all,

I have a 2006 X-type and i have the dealer installed IPOD adaptor. A couple of weeks ago it just stopped working! :-(

Any idea of what I should look for in trying to find a fix?

How long ago did you have it installed? Jaguar warranties all parts put inside the car for 1 year, or is suppose to.

warranty

adapter is just over a year old, so likely it is out of warranty. guess i was surprised it would just stop working. anything basic to check?

sorry i know that has nothin to do with ur Question
but i don't have a touch screen in my car so can i install an IPOD adaptor??
or i don't need the touch screen to install the IPOD adaptor??

wow thats a bummer it stopped working, first thing to check i guess would be to to see if anything has come loose?

I would do what jim.logan suggested. Take out your stereo and see if anything came loose? If anything, maybe you can pull the part number off the cable and order another one if push comes to shove?
