well, i thought we could meet in a park and have a cook out. I think late Aug or early Sept would be good... I like the t-shirt idea. I know a guy bthat makes printed shirts and I can get a price on them next week. I saw someone say Cleveland is a good starting point... I htought it would make a better ending place. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has a private street we can park at and take pictures. Maybe timed right the sun will be setting on the lake behind the Rock Hall... That would look cool.

what about Johnstown, PA as a starting point? It would be about a 3hr drive to cleveland... wait! I just had a great idea, what if we all meet at A Jaguar dealer in PA? I can call them and talk to the manager and let hom or her know what we plan to do. I bet we will get a few people from the dealer that will help out and join along? What do you guys think?

Just for everyone's info, if you type in just "johnstown, PA" into Mapquest, you will get 3 choices. You want the one in Cambria county. The other's are much further east in PA. I was doing a bit of looking and ran across this. I didn't know that there were 3 Johnstowns in PA. I always thought that a state only had one town with a given name and no other towns could take that name. Guess I am wrong.

Im located in MD/DC area, here's some good spots that I know which may be good for cookout etc.. these places have good space and are group friendly.
1. Rehoboth beach MD
2. VA beach (i know this is kinda south among everyone)
3. Saratoga NY (albany)
4. any camping ground in PA

We can also ask the participation among jag dealerships close to any of these areas.

My idea is, if I have to drive... i need to be able to have a place to stay near the "cookout/meet" area... in this case, those from extreme points ove the east coast will have no issues about having to choose where to stay since I believe not a lot will stay sober after the meet... (just a thought)
