Default Jaguar ssd question

Hey guys, I know this topic has been discussed ALOT, but I wanted to program some additional keys and activate a 6 disc cd changer so I thought of purchasing the jaguar tool for a week from topix. Now what I wanted to know is what cable to use to connect to the vehicles computer. I know there are some clones available, but does anyone have any experience with them, they say that they include the ssd software, but since I am going to be purchasing from topix, will a clone cable even work? thanks.

You should just need to OBDII connector for programming keys. The clone ones I'm not sure. All depends if they can connect to the VCM/Mongoose connection device, from there its to the USB port on the side of the laptop.
