Default Jaguar X-Type Diesel 2.2

Hi, i have a 2006 X-Type and problem i`m having is none of the doors will unlock inside or outside apart from drivers door and boot lid.
Not being a expert on Jaguars i guess must be electronic locks as the will not unlock mo mter how much force i put to them.
So any help will be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums duffyhitman,

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to X-Type forum. This is the place to post technical questions about your model.

Hi Duffyhitman

When you say the passenger doors wont unlock do you mean they wont open or you have to unlock each one manually to open? Each door lock has an electronic switch to lock and unlock the mechanical mechanism, they receive the signal through a central GEM module that is located under the drivers footwell in the cockpit. The cabling is also not very reliable on older cars, you need to press the remote twice to unlock all the doors to when the car is locked.
