Thanks. Did you enroll it? Without more participants for the X-Type we won't be able to provide even minimal stats for the car much longer.

We'll have updated stats soon for the 2003 and 2004, both based on small sample sizes.

It looks like the 2005 will fall a single response short of the absolute minimum. Additional participants would be especially helpful for this year.

And the 2002? We're now well short with it after a few members sold them.

I wish we had healthy sample sizes for all years, so we could provide solid information on them. For those not yet signed up, to help make this happen:

Our reliability stats for the X-Type now include owner experiences through March 31, 2015. (Others are nearly a year behind.)

In terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year ("low" is best):

2004 X-Type: 68, low, very small sample size
2003 X-Type: 88, moderate, very small sample size

No stat for a model year? Then we very much need more participants for it. Same for those with small sample sizes, unfortunately the rest of them. Next updates in August and November.

Our reliability stats for the X-Type now cover the year ending June 30, 2015. (Others are over a year behind, and so report how these cars were doing when a year younger.)

Repair trips per 100 cars:

2004 X-Type: 98, moderate
2003 X-Type: 45, low

The difference between the stats is likely explained by very small sample sizes. We need more participants for the X-Type to provide reasonably price stats.

We've updated our reliability stats for the X-Type to include owner experiences through September 30, 2015. Repair frequencies, in terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2004 X-Type: 114, high, very small sample size
2003 X-Type: 42, low, very small sample size

We'll have further updates in February and in May. Additional participants are very much needed to provide precise stats for all model years.

We've updated our reliability stats for the X-Type to include owner experiences through the end of 2015, about eight months ahead of other sources. In terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year--lower is better:

2004 X-Type: 110, moderate, very small sample size
2003 X-Type: 39, low, very small sample size

For the repairs behind these stats, reliability information on other models, and to sign up to help improve this information:
