Damn that's nice. Welcome to the Quartz club, vegas. Major bonus with the sat nav and mesh grills.
I got mine back from the body shop yesterday (not for the rust), so I'll have to get some pics of it up soon.

Looks good vegas...i like chrome mirrors but I DO NOT LIKE THE pillars in chrome. They look ghetto to be honest. Your other one didn't have navi did it? I bet your psyched! What did they want for it? Buy the clear side repeaters and if you don't like them I'll show ya how to tint them. I could show you how to tint the stock one's if you'd like?
I love the look of the newer steering wheels but didn't like the operation of the steering wheel controls as much as the ones you have. I forget now which year you had? The 17's of the 04 and newer non sport models look leaps and bounds better than the normal stock rims that were on them (16 inch.) Bet your liking the 2 cup holder vs the single that the 02 had! (once again I forget exactly what year you had before)

i had an 03' and this is an 05'. I think i have the newer steering wheel. have they changed it since 05? One question i had. I know the 03 had a 40/60 split on the all wheel drive and my 05 has a 50/50 split. I heard today that it is not all wheel drive all the time. I heard that from a standing start it is only rear wheel drive untill the car starts moving. has anyone heard of this???
Hey vegas, you may also wanna add chrome tail light kit .Believe in me it would make an outstanding look
Besides that, how about putting Jaguar decals on your headrests ?

Actually I'm pretty sure it's still a 60/40 split. I think it adjusts depending on the road conditions.
Personally I hate add-on chrome and the only thing I'd honestly add to the jag is the chrome side mirrors! Those look great but the other stuff is ugly.

I don't think so...I just did a search it no site said it changed...I don't know why they'd change it either way? I'm pretty sure that was one of the things jag wanted to incorporate into the car since they were surely not going to make the car front wheel drive and to keep with the rear wheel drive scheme that jag has always had they wanted it rear wheel biased.
ok here is what i found... i still don't know what it all means.
"Traction-4 is all about the way the car performs on the road and its inherent stability. The simple explanation is that it makes the X-TYPE feel bolted to the road surface. It doesn't matter whether road conditions are wet, dry, or snowy, the car feels stable," says Phil Hodgkinson, Director, Jaguar Product Development.
Traction-4 automatically senses the difference in speed between the front and rear wheels. Under normal driving conditions, 40 percent of the engine's power goes to the front wheels and 60 percent to the rear. However, if the rear wheels start to slip up to 60 percent of the engine's power is automatically, and seamlessly, directed to the front wheels—and vice-versa if the front wheels begin to spin.
"This is what gives the X-TYPE its sporty, agile handling," explains Hodgkinson. "It feels like a rear-wheel drive car and that will always appeal more to the enthusiastic driver."

yeah i never liked the pillers. to be honest i don't even care for the mirrors that much... but i have not made up my mind on that one. I do like the chrome headlight kit.. not the tail light kit. the windows are going to get tinted i just have to deceide on what shade of tint i should do...
