Recently i changed the battery in my key fob, things started working again. After a week the signal kept getting weaker and buttons started not working. Now its fully dead
any sugestions?

 

Correct battery? Was the key pressed up against something causing it to hit one of the buttons.....

Get new battery and try again.

I think it'a not new for me to hear such a key fob problem . I believe there is something getting stuck and sucks the battery dead . Well, consult your dealer I believe newer X Types are free of this problem , at least I hope

 

ohh i see, yea thats prolly it.
The jaguar dealer is bullshit, they charge for every small thing.

Well if you get a new fob, make sure it's for the same year. Differnt year fobs will not work. (Not sure anyway)
