Default Last pics of my car before the 20" Sentas get mounted!

Just a few pics of my car before I mount the Sentas- new tires ordered today. Stretch and poke on the way...

I just picked the car up from the body shop today- they added the Mina grille, front lip and shaved the hood ornament. And yes, I drive this low every day. Coilovers.

Looks awesome. Do me a favor though. Go out to your car with a small phillips and some 3M moulding tape. Then move the emblem up about a half inch. It does wonders and takes about 5 minutes.

(you have to trust me on this, it bugged me for a while and I haven't looked back on the grille since).

Edit: by the way, your car looks about 3 years newer now as well - and the compliments you'll get will support that statement.

Love your car, looks great. Is the rear adjustable on the coils.

I dunno..... I kinda like the Growler emblem in the middle. It looks right to me. After seeing how the car looks now I definitely have a new found interest in modding it for a while longer. I was thinking mayyyyyybe swapping over to a black leather interior after the Sentas but I'm not sure the juice is worth the squeeze if I pick up the Z Roadster I've been eyeing for a while now.

The rears are not adjustable on the KW V1s... The only way to bring it lower in the rear is to fill my backseat with people.

Thanks for the compliments guys!

I think the emblem looks better in the middle. The wheels look really good. Only thing I'd do is get rid of the chrome and have it painted/covered with vinyl. Seeing pics makes me want to find another x-type.

I'd be down either next time I'm in Cali or if he makes a trip to LA!

Nevarrrr! The chrome bumper blades go really nicely with the mesh of the grille.. If the car was any other color than this I would probably paint match/black out all the chrome but it just seems to work nicely on this color.

If the mesh were chrome I'd agree. I bet painted chrome with a black mesh would look good.

Want to see the wheels on there as well but even now it looks "sick". That means good, right? Noticed your front bumper blades are the full ones without marker lights. Can you do the rears to complete the look? I'm a less chrome the better guy but agree that it looks okay with your set up.

I might add the chrome rubstrips to my sport. I only dislike chrome wheels, but OEM chrome beltlines (if subtle enough) are generally a good thing. I don't buy the whole "de-chroming makes the car look newer/sportier" thing. There is a line you can't cross, but the bumper rubstrips don't qualify as even near the line.

I think you hit the proverbial nail on the head there, Exexpat. I would love to see that on your car (sorry Sidewalkman ).

The front bumper blades are the 'euro' spec which is why they dont have the side markers. As far as I know they don't make a similar set for the rear because even the euro version has those rear sidemarkers.

And sick is goooood.

North America is the only market lucky enough to get the bumper lights on the X-Type - front or rear.

Here is what they look like in the other 200+ countries of the world:
