Guys, I have emailed this company having read on this forum how good their products are. Isupplied a picture to help them provide some advice on which product to order with a view to repairing a scuff mark on my drivers seat. Several emails later and they still have not replied
All I want is to determinewhich product to order! (Cananyone here advise please?)
Kind regards,

Communication from customer to supplier has taken a horrible turn for the worst in the last 5 years. Loyalty to a supplier is basically null, because you never get that person to person communication you get over the phone. I remember working at a company a couple of years back, and one of our suppliers in Duluth was Grainger, and I got discounts ALL the time because I would be really nice over the phone with Lisa, and likewise was very nice back. I always made sure that our payments to them were prompt, and she always made sure our shipments were on time. Now tell me, does it or does it not help business?

There's nothinh, absolutely nothing like the personal touch. First and foremost face to face is best, then certainll on the phone would be my next choice. Email is ok as a confirmation as to what you have already spoken about I say.
Jim
Agreed mate, but now a days, it's too difficult to meet all suppliers and customers face to face!

BuckMR2,
Your technical solution has worked!
Ash was very helpful...he's explained that Leathermagic (an American company) has recently set up a UK based office which doesn't currently carry a wide range of stock. He is concerned that my UK spec leather colour may differ from themodels supplied to you guys across the pond....
Ummm..he's asked me to cut a small bit of leather off and send it to him...can't find a spare piece anywhere.
Mine is the standard 'sand' colour (according to Jaguar dealer) but I've since found a plate on the nearside door pillar which shows:
PAINT - HGN| TRIM - ADX | LS
So, I've sent this info to Ash hoping he can identify the correct colour for me...
BTW, he highly recommends using one of theirleather colourent kits (approx £40)
Perhaps he's email (sorry - call me) back!
Kind regards,
Kenzed..

Aquille1,
Well I'm not sure.
I've replied to 'ASH' at leathermagicUK to see if the above info can help him to identify the correct colour but he hasn't got back to me yet.
The best thing would be for me to send a small sample to ASH but I can't find a suitable place to get a small piece from.
Suggestions?

Pull the back seat cushion up and remove a small piece from the bottom perhaps???
Its the easiest piece to remove.Just pull up and push back once you have your small piece.

Well it is a possibility I guess, but....
I know its not Jag related, but here's my experience with the Audi dealer when my car was in recently.
Picked my car up at 8am prompt and left a new A6 estate 2.0 diesel immaculate inside n out with only 2k miles on it in my driveway. They replaced all 4 chrome door trims under warranty, fully serviced the car ( F.O.C ) called and advised me that I needed 2 new front tyres for which I gave them the go ahead.......very reasonably priced. They kept me advised of the situation as the car had to be kept in for a few days. Washed n valeted my car thoroughly. I also bought 2 new rear mud flaps which the parts guy ( Peter.....great guy to know ) discounted for me and also got fitted for free.
They also (unknowingly) allowed me to swap out a read carpet mat that had been soiled for a new one from their loaner car.
I also got a cup of coffee and some sweet convo from the extremely good looking receptionist

All in all...........a really pleasant experience all round!!!
Jim
Pleasant cuz they saw you coming a mile away
