Default lost drive 3 4 5

Any advice: Gears 1, 2 and reverse working fine , have lost drive in 3, 4 and 5, no solennoid codes, only a 3rd gear incorrect ratio code , has been checked on a snapon reader. Gerabox chap has tested for 4th and 5th and claims they are not working either, any comments before I fall under the pocket extractor.

just like to add no metal in the trans fluid, neither is it burnt or smelly (still pink)

The most likely causes of your problem are either the selector cable incorrectly adjusted/fitted or the range sensor is out of adjustment.

It's also possible that the range sensor is broken electrically or there's a fault in its wiring, but basic adjustment of the selector cable and range sensor would be my start point.

This has been inspected, and symptoms dont add up to this being the fault either. SYMPTOM: Drining normally all of a sudden amber gearbox fault no prior symptoms at all. it is looking very much like either a cracked drum or sprag coupling damage, I understand that this was an issue on the earlier models and an uprated version of the drum was made available , I am unaware if the drum in this GB is of the upgradeed type or not. I was hoping somebody would have had the same issue and report their outcome.

it could be sift solenoids or speed sensors they can be checked from the 2 plugs on the side of the valve cover not easy to get to the workshop manual tells you how to test and what readings you should be getting

have had all the selenoids out and tested, all are in range electrically and do not leak under an airtest. I have not tested the speed sensor but would have thought there would have been more symptoms than what I had, which was none. As far as I know the speed sensors are not prone to just go faulty without some indication, I have attempted to looked up how to test the speed sensors but could not seem to find the scton within the manual. If anybody knows where to locate it please inform me
